Financial wisdom for the young and old

As a teacher at a local kindergarten school, part of Marie’s task is to disseminate any information passed by the board of education to the parents during the Home Room meeting. Yesterday she was told that there are about 20 slots for Government Grants For Dyslexic Children and she was tasked to disseminate the information to the community. She has already printed adverts and has posted quite a few on the school’s bulletin board. She also called up a few of the parents she knew who had dyslexic children who might be able to benefit from this program. Marie is quite pleased with how the board of education’s monthly meeting turned out. Through what she would like to call work gossip, she found out that a private organization was setting up over a hundred slots for grants for disabled veterans in honor of Memorial’s Day. She was rather ecstatic about the news and cannot wait to spread the news amongst her teacher friends. Marie has always been on the lookout for scholarship offers that she can refer to her friends. For her, education is of utmost importance and would love to have everyone to have one as possible. Since college is very expensive she has made it her goal to help everyone she knew who needs help finding a scholarship grant to support them throughout college. Mari has helped quite a lot of her friend’s friends and relatives. It was her way of supporting education. Quite noble isn’t it? The latest person she has helped was Eve, she managed to help Eve process the papers and requirements needed to obtain a grant as an exchange student in London. As of the moment, Eve is now on her third month in London and is loving it tremendously.
